Most real bodies look far from that of a store mannequin. Many women do not see themselves and their bodies reflected back when they walk into a clothing retailer. Because viewing products on a mannequin or on a catalogue model is an un-relatable and unrealistic representation of how a real body looks and fits the item.

Partnering with Snap, we created a Nike store experience for Every Body. Nike's first inclusive user-generated look book made up of real women from the community.

The look book is accessible through an in-store Snap lens, where women were able to view products on real bodies, see community product reviews and even submit their own images to grow the localised look book.

This Snap x Nike experience is a Nike Store first. Piloting in August 2021 at Nike Watertown with plans for rollout at Nike Brooklyn and across other US Nike stores.

Results:

  • 2 minutes average spend time on lens

  • 10x greater than the average Snap lens engagement

  • 43% increase in Gen Z women membership sign-ups

  • 20% increase in Nike Members transactions
